Spring Detox

Warmer weather, rainy mornings, an overall refreshing vibe - I love the spring time.


This time of year means getting out of the gym and into nature! It is so exhilarating to get to jump on my bike or hike up a new path every day. Will I miss the elliptical and the weights? Hell no!


This time of year inspires me to rejuvenate my body with a spring detox. My detox consists of a blend of exercise, infused waters, teas, and healthy food. Not too different from all the others, eh?


My detox plan does not come from anyone in particular. In all honesty, I basically create my own regiment through Pinterest (feel free to check out my boards!) It's easy to do, and cost effective - two things that I believe are incredibly important!


With that said, I will share a few of my core detox items with you:

  • An infuser water bottle! These are pretty common now, but this is the one that I use. Or, if you have a water bottle that you love, check out this awesome water bottle insert!

  • Dandelion Detox Tea. My preferred brand is the Yogi Roasted Dandelion Tea. It has a delicious flavor and is quite filling. If I need a caffeine kick, I add a green tea bag.

  • Fresh fruit and veggies! I don't know about you, but one of my favorite ways to eat vegetables is to roast them! It's super easy to do so and there are lots of delicious variations and recipes!
